Jesse Defends Wildflower Title!!!

By now you've probably heard that Jesse won Wildflower last weekend, defended his title (under ridiculous external and internal pressure), and delivered strong with the 3rd fastest long course time ever. If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and check out his amazing race recap on his blog: leap day sports.

For your viewing pleasure, here is a video montage, post race interview, some touching photos, and a look back to 2011's greener and giddier surprise Wildflower Champion.

Sweet video montage by 3GO of Jesse's race:

A little more cool calm collected than 2011: http://youtu.be/PAGtpIsPRog?t=1m15s

"That's my Mom!" Jesse yells mid-interview minutes after finishing.

To make Wildflower even more festive, Specialized gave out 300 pairs of aviators for fans to wear. Thanks guys for supporting so stylishly.

Here's Jesse signing autographs at the Triathlete magazine tent. A little more pressure and hype this year as the defending Champion at Wildflower's 30th anniversay on the cover of Triathlete magazine—compared to a last minute entry and being completely unknown in 2011.

Picky Bars crew representing! (Loren and Jessica)

Huge thanks to all the Picky Clubbers repping their shirts out there. Bright yellow spots of Picky Pride amid the crowd. Shout out to Chris Wright, Russ Burrows, Kevin Young and especially to the viral sensation Tim Bellig (pic below @timbellig) for racing in a mullet, speedos, and a Picky shirt. Fantastic.

Awards ceremony (picky bars sneaking in there again... nice Jessica!):

Definitely worth a look back at these 2011 post race interviews:

And the 2011 awards ceremony:

Great job Jesse and thanks everyone for your support!

Political scientists study the alcooatiln and transfer of power in decision-making, the roles and systems of governance including governments and international organizations, political behavior and public policies. They measure the success of governance and specific policies by examining many factors, including stability, justice, material wealth, and peace. Some political scientists seek to advance positive theses by analyzing politics. Others advance normative theses, by making specific policy recommendations.
