Wow what a week. Steph PR-ed and Lauren qualified for the 5K final running only 10 miles a week since January. There were C's for courage and Picky Sweatbands everywhere. At the end of it all, we celebrated... vigorously.

We want to sincerely thank SportHill, Eugene Running Company, Team Run Eugene, Ninkasi, Oiselle, and especially all the fans and cheers that made this 2012 US Olympic Trials such a freaking awesome event! Throwing up those Cs for courage carried Lauren into the 5k final and helped Steph push through the last 8 laps of that darn 25 lap race known as the 10k. Our Picky eaters are a unique bunch of people who go beyond just consuming bars and have become a support system for the Picky Team. You guys inspire us to perfect our recipes and taste while we attempt to pursue our athletic endeavors and have one heck of a time doing so. Thanks Picky Eaters, you freaking rock!!!
Check out these sweet pics from the week:
Lauren with her high school coach right after making the 5K final.
Later that night celebrating at Falling Sky Brewery—but still all business.
These fans were among many sending Lauren 'courage' even from home. Thanks guys!
What's better than a double rainbow? Three "C's" for courage, son. Loren, Sasha, Kevin R.D. and Patrick bringing their A-game to the table.
One big happy Picky Crew family. Jesse, Lauren, Loren, Jenn, Brendan, Annie, Jess, and Laurel. Steph and Ben must be taking this picture, and Patrick is probably sharing some literature with a potential Picky Eater.
Thanks Laurel for all the support and repping the Picky Love inside Hayward. Two girls here, both freaking fountains of positive energy.
Sweatbands? Check. "C" for Courage? Check. Thanks Laurel Fooks.
Olympian Bridget Franek at Eugene Running Company's Sunday Fun Run with owner Bob Coll—both rocking the Picky Sweatbands. Thanks guys. P.S. did you know Bridget was an original Picky Bar maker? True story.
Oiselle was freaking amazing during the trials. They printed these awesome Fleshman Flyer shirts for all the Lauren supporters.
Then on Friday, Oiselle threw a sick party with MC Hammer. Check this video. Getting rowdy in TrackTown!
The youngest of the Oiselle (Lesko) family showing off some insane moves!
But wait, Lauren's got some moves too. Look at those jazz hands!
A lot happened during the Trials. Records were broken, dreams were made, fun was had. Looking back on this very special moment in history, we reflect and appreciate the courage of these athletes to chase their dreams, and in turn, inspire us to chase our own.
We want to thank each of you again for a truly special Olympic Trials.
